Comfort food. Is it really?

What do you think of when you hear the phrase “comfort food”? What images does it stir up? What memories come flooding over you? What do you wish would happen next?

I used to think of comfort food as one of my best friends. Chocolate can fall into that category. Sometimes, chicken and dumplings. Yes, food was a great source of comfort. Of course, it was. That was why it was labeled ‘comfort food’.
